I was scrolling through Twitter when I stumbled across…you guessed it…an ANIMAL CROSSING BOOK TAG! Now, I don’t know about you all, but I am currently obsessed with the game. Thanks, Jess. I figured that today would be a great day to the book tag! You can find the original book tag over at Two Book Thieves.
Past Villager – Who is a character you found when you were younger that still has a place in your heart?
Lets just go with a somewhat cliche answer and say, Harry Potter. Mostly, cause I started reading Harry Potter for the first time in fifth grade. Then the summer going in eighth grade, I really picked up my love for it. I would also have to Junie B. Jones. That is if we are talking about early elementary years.
Blather’s Blatherings – Recommend a historical fiction book that you think everybody should read
Celeste’s Wish – What is a future book release you wish you could read now?
There are so many. I would have to All Tides of Fate, A Vow so Bold and Deadly, and The Heart Principle.
Timmy & Tommy – What is your favourite sibling relationship in a book?
Stevie and Rook’s sibling relationship in the A Lie for A Lie and A Favor for A Favor by Helena Hunting is one my favorites. I would also have to say Bronwyn and Maeve in One of Us is Lying and One of Us is Next by Karen McManus.
The Easter Bunny – A popular book character that you’re not a big fan of
Does Snape count for this? Like people do love him as much as they give off? Cause he’s always been a character that drove me up the wall in a really annoying way. I mean, I could list of characters that I really don’t like. But those are probably also very common too.
The Sisters Able – What is your favourite fictional family (found or otherwise)?
I don’t know if I really have a favorite fictional family or if I’m just a huge sucker for the found family trope that all of them end up being my favorite by the end of reading the book. Oops.
It’s a C+ – What is a book trope you don’t like that keeps popping up?
There’s not a trope that keeps coming up that I don’t care for. Some are sufferable and I roll my eyes at them, but not enough for me to put hte book down. I would have to say that a good girl wanting to save the bad boy can be overdone at times.
The Wandering Camel – What is your favourite book set in a land far away from yours?
Emberfall from A Curse so Dark and Lonely and A Heart so Fierce and Broken. I can’t put my finger on it, but the way Brigid Kemmerer writes the whole scenery of Emberfall makes my heart want to be there so badly.
What Would Dodos Do? – A fictional land you wish you could fly away to at any moment?
Visidia from All the Stars and Teeth. I’m sure it has something to do with the way that Adalyn Grace had built her world and the descriptions she used. But please sign me up for flying there at any time. k. thanks.
I don’t really know who to tag for this. If you do end up doing it, then drop the link to either blog post or youtube video in the comments!
